On the 20th and 21st September 2016, the school underwent an Ofsted Inspection and received an overall effectiveness judgement of Good.

In February 2013 the report of the Archdiocese of Liverpool inspection found that Saint Cuthbert’s provides good Catholic Education and "the extent to which pupils contribute to and benefit from the Catholic life of the school is outstanding." Archdiocese report

The Local Authority completed a review of the school on the 18th January 2016. We are very encouraged with the findings of the report.
