Diamond Jubilee Mass of Thanksgiving
20 March 2017
We are celebrating Mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool
On Wednesday, 20 September a convoy of 20 buses and coaches will transport over 1,000 students and staff from school to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in the centre of Liverpool for a Mass of Thanksgiving starting at 11.00am. This will include over 150 staff and students from our partner primaries: Holy Cross, Holy Spirit, St Anne’s and St Theresa’s. Archbishop Malcolm McMahon will be the celebrant.
The Diamond Jubilee marks an important milestone in the school's young history, offering a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the achievements of the school and its community over the past 60 years, while also aspiring for the next 60 years and beyond. Everyone is welcome to join us.
The school is particularly interested to hear from people who have memories or photographs of the school from its 60-year history. Please email WeAre60@StCuthberts.com for more information.
Individual announcements and updates regarding other commemorative events will be made throughout the year.
