Food for Thought
03 December 2015
Last Thursday our 'Healthy Schools' Student Food Group met with Andrew Ferguson, the new Executive Development Chef of St Helens Council. He came into school to talk to students about their experience of school food. Students shared their ideas about the current food on offer and were able to put forward their own ideas.
Andrew will be spending a day a term at St Cuthbert's meeting with the group, developing and creating his new dishes and holding special tasting sessions with the students. He is keen to work with the group on growing, cooking and eating proper food as part of the School Food Plan. The plan is also about improving the academic performance of our children and the health of our nation.
