Anti-Bullying Week at St Cuthbert's

20 November 2016

This week it's Anti-Bullying week at St Cuthbert's. In pride of place in the foyer is an anti-bullying tree which was made and designed  by pupils from St Anne's & Holy Spirit Primary Schools on Friday afternoon; during a workshop run by Mrs Lee & Mrs Carville.

The leaves contain anti-bullying messages from our own students who made this contribution during form time last week. Form's are also working this week on posters which will join the tree display as the week goes on.

This week year assemblies will raise awareness  and focus  on the effects that bullying has on it's victims. There are also drop in sessions during  breaks and dinners where pupils can come and speak to Mrs Lee or Mrs Carville with any issues around feeling intimidated and threatened in school and over social media. They will also be reintroducing TOOT TOOT, the online way of reporting any bullying concerns, anonymously.
