Mrs Ballinger
How long have you worked at St Cuthbert's?
10 years
Can you share a favourite memory about St Cuthbert's?
There are so many! The first time I attended the carol concert in the main entrance it was so uplifting! I look forward to it every year now. The annual remembrance service is so moving & respectful. The 50th Mass at Lowe House was a great celebration & performance too.
What made you go into teaching/working in a supporting role in school?
I made the transition from Primary to Secondary school and although I am not a member of teaching staff I interact with the students in many ways. I contribute to the successful running of the school, which in turn assists in the development of the students giving them confidence to move into the wider world as young adults.
What is the best bit of advice you can give to your students?
"work hard in silence, let the success make the noise" hard work will help you reach your goals- reach for the stars!
What do you enjoy most about working at St Cuthbert's?
The family unity and caring ethos for all staff & students. We are family.
