School Chapel

Our school chapel is a place of welcome for all.

We are fortunate to have our own school chapel, which is a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Our chapel is used regularly by staff and students for prayer and liturgies. It is also used as a social hub for students and a meeting place for our chaplaincy groups.

Chaplaincy Leaders

Chaplaincy Leaders assist in the planning and delivery of Sacred Time and other liturgical celebrations.

This group of students applied for their prestigious role and come from all year groups. They begin each year with an out-of-school training day to help prepare them for their special role.

“I love being a chaplaincy Leader because we have planned and led whole year Collective Sacred Time, which is frightening, but also fun. I feel like I am making a different to our school. I think having a faith is so important and I like sharing this with others. One of my favourite activities so far was helping with our Values Day. It was nice helping the different visitors and being able to read and give out communion at the whole school Mass”, – Laila, Year 8

Staff Reflection

Every Friday some of our staff choose to attend staff reflection before school.
This gives staff the opportunity to spiritually refuel during a busy school week. Different staff take it in turns to prepare a short time of reflection on different themes. All staff are welcome to attend.

Thank you to Mrs Lee who has been leading us in the Rosary every Wednesday morning as part of our Lenten journey. We hope to continue this through the Liturgical year.
