"In 2016, Year 11 students who have special educational needs and/or disabilities made much better progress than in the previous year, particularly in English. Gaps between the progress of these students and that of their peers have become smaller. Students who have special educational needs and/or disabilities, and children looked after, receive high-quality support to enable them to achieve their full potential. Leaders ensure that special educational needs funding is used effectively. Pupils supported by this funding make good progress during their time at St Cuthbert’s." Ofsted, September 2016
Information will be published on this page for parents/carers of students with special educational needs.

Listen 4 Change (the St Helens parent carer forum) will be hosting a virtual Q&A session on Monday, 21st September 2020, from 9:30am to 11:00am via Microsoft Teams.
Following on from recent Virtual sessions with various service providers, Listen 4 Change have worked with the Local Authority, St. Helens CCG and North West Boroughs Healthcare to host the above event.
Following parent carer concerns regarding the operation and performance of the Neurodevelopment Pathway, the session will give parent carers an update on the pathway performance and the recovery plan going forward. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions. The services will also take feedback and look into individual issues outside of the session and respond directly.
To book your place, please email: elizabethbarr-jones@sthelens.gov.uk - Liz will email you the link to join the meeting. All are welcome to attend whether you are on the pathway, looking at being referred or been through the pathway recently as your experiences are key.
