Once again, students from St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School are celebrating their hard-earned GCSE results today, with improvements in a number of areas.
This year’s results are testimony to the hard work of St Cuthbert’s students and staff and underline the school’s determination to help every student achieve the highest possible standards.

Students who had a particularly good day included Charlie M who achieved seven grade 9 GCSEs, making him the highest achieving student in our recent history and who also had 100% attendance over the 5 years; Riley K, Olivia R, April P and Tian W also received a number of grade 8 & 9 GCSE grades. However, at
St Cuthbert’s we recognise that success takes many forms, and we are equally proud of every single one of our students, who have tried and achieved their best, regardless of their grades
Headteacher Mr Stuart Holland said: “Our students have worked exceptionally hard throughout the last 5 years and have achieved the results that they truly deserve. We are particularly proud of them for overcoming the challenges that they’ve faced as the year group who joined us during COVID. Can I take this opportunity to thank our staff who have shown dedication and commitment to the successes that we’ve seen this morning, and also to our parents and carers for their continued support. We wish our students the very best of luck as they leave us, and continue to live life in all its fullness.
We wish you all every luck and happiness in life’s next adventure. You will always be a part of our St Cuthbert’s family so remember to keep in touch!”
