Holocaust Memorial Day 2022

Holocaust Memorial Day 2022

Holocaust Memorial Day is One Day – 27 January – that we put aside to come together to remember, to learn about the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and the genocides that followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur, in the hope that there may be One Day in the future with no genocide.

To commemorate this year, throughout this week we are coming together as a community, alongside Cowley International College, to share resources and prayers and learn about Holocaust Memorial Day together.

The theme for this year is ‘One Day’. This week will be an opportunity to learn but to also reflect on our own lives.

At 8pm on 27th January 2022, we will join the rest of the nation by putting a candle in our window to remember those who were murdered for who they were. To stand against hostility and prejudice.
