Today as part of National Careers Week, our Year 9 Work Experience started in different departments around school.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to take part in helping a range of areas across the school, including the Catering Team in The Cafe and The Canteen, the Admin Team in the Reprographics department and Main Reception as well as the Art, DT and PE departments.
Already on the first day we have seen students organise the Food Room for practicals, use the laser cutter and unpack deliveries with the Site Staff.
Whilst other have been busy organising and sorting the PE department’s kit and resources, showing off some of their own skills and helping Mr Platt map out his current orienteering course for his classes.
