Year 7 students Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Our Year 7 students visited the Recycling Discovery Centre recently.

During the special experience the students discovered:

• What can be recycled at home and how to recycle right.
• What is contamination and the effect it can have putting the wrong things in our recycling bins.
• The journey of recycling from our homes to its final destination. 

They also enjoyed a unique tour of the Materials Recovery Facility where they could see the journey of our recycling after its collected by our local council and why it is important to recycle right.
