It's been a busy Festive period for our students here at St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School.
Some of our Year 9 students were great ambassadors as they spread some Christmas cheer and took part in Dunelm’s Delivering Joy campaign in the last few weeks, before their Christmas break.
The campaign, running for the third Christmas in a row, partners with local schools, care homes and refuges and gives the opportunity for the community to take a gift tag which represents a local resident and buy them a gift.
It’s also a chance to get creative, with many people making their own gift. Our Technology Department got to work and our Technician, Mrs Wood, made a fantastic bird table.
Mrs Lee, Assistant Head of Year 9 and organiser of all the tags and gifts, said: “It’s times like this where our school shows the true meaning of community and what the ‘St Cuthbert’s way’ really is.”
