Our Year 7’s narrowly lost a really competitive and exciting match, despite being 6 points up at half time.
There was great attacking play from both sides with particular mention to Nathan B who side-stepped through Cowley's defence at will, to score 4 tries and kicking through, to set up Lewis H for another.
It was a sweltering day on a massive pitch and our boys ran out of steam at the end. Both teams were able to field a massive squad Cowley with 30+ and St Cuthbert's had 21 lads getting the experience of running out at Saints. Some key players were missing for our side and they are keen to put things right over the next 4 years. All the boys were obviously disappointed but should be proud of their achievements.
