Year 9 have enjoyed a cultural experience today. They have been studying Chinese culture and taken part in a number of activities. Collaborative dragon designs in Art with Mr Kersey-Brown and Ms Alhadad, practising using chopsticks and tasting chinese dumplings in Food with Miss La and Mrs Proffitt. In Technology they have used 2D Design to create Chinese Theatre masks with Mr Atherton and Mrs Wood, creating Chinese Music with Mr Conlan.Finally a Tai Chi/Quigong session with an expert in the Art. Well it's been an exciting day and certainly very different from a typical Friday. Take a look at what they have been getting up to.
