It was superb to see so many active and happy faces in the PE Department last Thursday evening. The Open Evening brought with it an assembly of enthusiastic Year 6 children, excited to take part in our All Sports Challenge. Varying in confidence and ability, it was an absolute pleasure to see so many pupils giving all the activities a go and having fun along the way!
The children were challenged to take part in six different activities (including, Total Wipe-out, Ninja Warrior Assault Course, Air Darts, Beat the Keeper, and Stick it and Rowing challenges). Their scores were added up from each challenge and a winner was awarded from both a boys and girls category. Individuals will be awarded their Winner's Prizes in their Primary Schools next week.
With pupils from as many as 15 primary schools climbing, scrambling, running, jumping and rowing their way across the Sports Hall and Gymnasium, the evening was a huge success!
