We were absolutely delighted to receive the Skills for the Future award at the annual Invest in St Helens Business Awards held at the the Totally Wicked stadium, home to Saints, this year's Super League Champions.
Invest St Helens Business awards celebrates the role of St Helens Businesses, Social Enterprises and Schools investment in raising the profile of St Helens as a place to invest, live, learn, work and visit.
The business awards celebrate and tell stories of the contribution St Cuthbert's and all businesses make to St Helens.
The Skills for the Future Award "recognises the work of schools, businesses or organisations who are supporting our students and residents with the skills needed to to ensure they benefit from quality jobs created by St Helens economy. Other finalist included Carmel College and St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary School".
Speaking at the event, Miss Ward, Personal Development and CEIAG Lead at St Cuthbert's said "The school is really proud to be from St Helens and wants our students to be the best they can be".
