Taking Time to Reflect on a Superb Term with PE

As we start the new calendar year with new aspirations and new challenges, what a pleasure it has been to take some time to reflect on our students' achievements in Physical Education since we returned to school in September to begin our new academic year.

Students have represented St Cuthbert's at many different venues, and in many different sports. Each time demonstrating high levels of skill, team spirit, discipline, leadership, and respect, leaving PE staff feeling very proud of the hard work, determination and the great attitude of every single student taking part.

Many of these students were recognised for their achievements at The St Cuthbert's Sports Personality of The Year Awards evening. Huge thank you to Andy Turner, Olympic athlete, for presenting our awards and sharing his journey to success.  It was an incredible evening of celebration, where we were all left truly inspired by our youngsters.

Celebrating two terms of sporting success and awesome achievements in PE. Well done to all our students who took part, had fun and tried their hardest!

Congratulations to all of our Sports Personality of the Year Nominees
