Our daily staff briefing was quite strange today, not just because we are normally all together in the staff room but because we said farewell to some staff.
Mrs Dawber leaves us, temporarily, today to prepare for the birth of her first baby and we wish her and her family every happiness.
Also leaving today is Mrs Winstanley from the Maths department. She has been a valued member of the Maths team and we wish her every success and happiness in her new job.
Last but definitely not least we say goodbye to Mr Gibbins, who, after 36 years of teaching English has decided to retire to spend more time with his family. We wish him good health and happiness as he starts his new adventure.
And now we would like to say a big thank you and well done to all our community, that's our young people. there families and all of our staff.
When this situation we find ourselves in is a memory we will look back and realise that it has made us stronger, more resilient, closer to our loved ones and more focused on what is important.
We wish you and you families a happy and Holy Easter (in whatever form that may be). Use this time to stay busy. Spend time with each other. Share moments, memories and humour together and above all keep each other safe.
From us to you. To see our 'thank you' click on the picture below.
