'Stay at Home' History Competition Winner Announced

History competition winner, Katie, takes the crown

A big congratulations to Katie B in Year 9 for submitting this brilliant poster for our History department's competition.

The competition was a task set for all year groups to create a poster intended to persuade people to comply with the guidance OR spread messages of positivity. It could have been a redesign of an old one or new creation of your own.

Mrs Brown, Curriculum Leader for Humanities, said: "We've had a lot of uptake with this competition and it was fantastic to see so many of our young people getting involved and getting creative.

"Katie's submission really stood out to us, with the colours and the use of language. Using an old and very well known poster, she still managed to create something modern and with her own twist.

"Well done Katie! There will be a prize for you once we are back at school."
