The show will go on (but virtually) this Friday as St Helens lights up its Christmas Lights as we begin the festive countdown.
This Friday, December 4, a virtual Christmas lights-switch on will be shown across the council’s Facebook and Twitter channels to help spread some much-needed festive joy.
Featuring pre recorded performances from schools across the borough, as well as MD Creatives and local DJs – the social media event will also see the Mayor of St Helens, Paul McQuade; Council Leader, David Baines join forces with Willowbrook Hospice in switching on the Christmas lights outside St Helens Town Hall in support of Willowbrook’s festive-fundraising project, 'Decorate and Donate'.
