Anti-Bullying Week 2020

Anti-Bullying Week 2020

Anti-Bullying Alliance are the official organisers of Anti-Bullying Week. Anti-Bullying Week 2020 took place on Monday 16th November - Friday 20th November 2020. The theme was United Against Bullying.

This year, more than ever, we’ve witnessed the positive power that society can have when we come together to tackle a common challenge.

Anti-Bullying Week is no different. Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. But by channelling our collective power, through shared efforts and shared ambitions, we can reduce bullying together. From parents and carers, to teachers and politicians, to children and young people, we all have a part to play in coming together to make a difference.

We’re all a piece in the puzzle, and together, we’re united against bullying.

Our Year 7 students took part in #oddsocksday as part of Anti-Bullying Week.
As well as this, across the week on the Year 7 Instagram they have been sharing the brilliant work of Year 7 based on the theme of bullying from their English and Drama classes. Our students have been creating poems in their English lessons linked with tolerance, diversity and a world without bullying.  Here is a snippet of Charlie’s excellent piece of work.
