Stephen Hawking’s death has upset all.

He was born on January 8, 1942 and unfortanately died on 14th March 2018 at the age of 76. His first book was called “The large scale structure of space –time.” He made this in 1973. In 1965 he married Jane Hawking and divorced her in 1995 then he married Elaine Mason who he then divorced in 2006. He has three children; Lucy hawking,Timothy Hawking,Robert Hawking.

In 1962 to 1966 he went to Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, then went to University of Oxford. His father wanted him to seek a career in medicine.At the age 21, while studying cosmology at the University of Cambridge, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Over the years Stephen Hawking wrote or co-wrote 15 books.His parents didn’t have much money.  

In October 2017, Cambridge University posted Hawking's 1965 doctoral thesis, it got 60,000 views before the end of its first day online.

Once Stephen finished collage he wanted to study math at university but was encouraged to follow his father’s footsteps, he decided to study physics and chemistry.

All of his fantastic work enables us to understand why he will be missed and why so many people were so upset by his death.
