Twilight was written by Stephanie Meyer in 2005, followed by New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
A couple of years after that the films hit the big screen with the cast of Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen and is also famous for playing Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series, Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black.
The books and films became popular for the very first time. My favourite character is Rosalie Hale, who is the adoptive sister-in-law of Bella and is jealous of her because no one else will get the chance to become a vampire like Bella does.
Finally, my favourite film is more difficult to choose. I would have to say all of them because you don't know what to expect next!
