Staff Reflection

Every Friday some of our staff choose to attend staff reflection before school.

This gives staff the opportunity to spiritually refuel during a busy school week. Different staff take it in turns to prepare a short time of reflection on different themes. All staff are welcome to attend.

Here are some quotes from staff who regularly attend:

“Staff worship every Friday morning is a very precious time in the school week. It gives us an opportunity, as friends and colleagues, to take a few moments to worship, reflect and communicate with God. It also gives us time to reconnect with ourselves, each other and with our Faith, and provides a platform of hope and inspiration, for us all to continually try to put our faith into action throughout each school day, nurturing a culture of compassion and support for our children.   It is a safe and sacred time, where we can collectively explore and deepen our spirituality, personally, and within school life” ~ Mrs Bayley, Teacher of Science, Spring 2025.

“Attending staff reflection provides a dedicated time for me to pause, reflect and reconnect. It is a moment of spiritual renewal and gratitude at the end of a busy school week. This time helps me feel more connected to my faith, strengthens relationships with colleagues and offers a peaceful transition into the weekend, allowing me to return to work the following week with renewed energy and perspective” ~ Mrs Freeman, Curriculum Leader Computing, Spring 2025.

“Staff reflection is something I look forward to every week, as it is a time for us to get together and  pray together” ~ Mr Booth, School Business Manager, Spring 2025.

Thank you to Mrs Lee who has been leading us in the Rosary every Wednesday morning as part of our Lenten journey.  We hope to continue this through the Liturgical year.
