Catholic Social Teaching

Catholic Social Teaching is based on the belief that God has a plan for creation, a plan to build his kingdom of peace, love and justice.

Writings by Popes and Catholic leaders show how the Catholic faith can guide our response to these issues. We have included more details about Catholic Social Teaching.

We live out Catholic Social Teaching every day at St. Cuthbert’s, and you only need to look at our Social Media, the way we treat each other and the way we live out our Core Values to see this. There are some photos here to that show work we do in school to live out CST (from our environmental work, to our Chaplaincy leaders living out our Mission)

All of our Curriculum Leaders have looked at links within their curriculum sequencing and Catholic Social Teaching, and have included these in their curriculum documentation, which you can find in our Subjects area of the website.
